Gezer, or Tel Gezer (Hebrew: גֶּזֶר), in Arabic Tell Jezer or Tell el-Jazari, the site of the abandoned Arab village of Abu Shusheh, is an archaeological site in the foothills of the Judaean Mountains at the border of the Shfela region roughly midway between Jerusalem and Tel is now an Israeli national the Hebrew Bible, Gezer is associated with Joshua and Solomon.

The entire tel was surrounded by a massive wall constructed of large blocks of stone 4 m. wide, with strong towers erected at intervals along it. Archaeologists excavating the Tel Burna archaeological site in the Shephelah region of what is now Israel, have unearthed a cult complex dating back around 3, years, which may have been used for worshipping Baal, the Canaanite storm god, according to a report in Live Science.
The site of Tel Burna was primarily inhabited in the Bronze and Iron Ages, and was one of a series of.
